Important Announcement! (& Book Bloggery Week-in-Review #48)

Blogging

A Thank You, A Hiatus, and an Exciting Announcement!

Oh, the Books! We all knew this was coming… If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that I’ve been working on a secret book bloggery project with Asti and Leanne for a while now. We’ve been teasing you with minor updates, but the time is finally coming for our grand opening! If you haven’t joined our mailing list, and want to be included in some cool bonuses for our opening week, don’t forget to do so before March 2!

That’s right: On March 2 Oh, the Books will go live!

We are so excited to finally be sharing everything we’ve been working on for the past couple of months, so I hope you’ll all join us all over there.

What does this mean for Another Novel Read?

  • First, it means Another Novel Read will be on hiatus this week (February 24 – March 1). I will not be posting anything on the blog this week, and if I can figure out how, comments will also be closed. This is in preparation for moving everything over to my new home. Nothing will be lost — it will just be in a new location.
  • That being said, it means that Another Novel Read will likely not be continuing on its own. I will probably keep the site up for a while, but eventually it will probably phase its way out. So please be sure to update your subscriptions if you want to continue reading my bloggery!

On that note, I want to thank you.

That’s right. YOU. If it weren’t for every one of you who visit and comment on my blog regularly, I may not have continued doing it. The book blogging community is so fantastic, and I feel extremely grateful to have become a part of it! It’s been an absolute blast getting to know so many other bookish folks over the past year and a half — and I can’t wait to continue my journey. This move is just one more step in my book blogging adventure, and it might not have happened if it hadn’t been for the overwhelming enthusiasm of the community.

I love you all! Thank you for being here! And I hope you’ll join me at my new home, in a week’s time!

In case you missed it…

I wanted to continue my regular schedule as much as possible this week, so hey, I posted stuff!

Here’s what I actually posted on the blog this week:

  • My review of the Throne of Glass audiobook.
  • Excitement about books and other things coming up in March.
  • My review of the Crown of Midnight audiobook.
