In Case You Missed It

Here’s all the stuff that we posted this week.

Our Lives This Week

[stextbox id=”asti2″ caption=”Asti” collapsing=”true”]Oh, book blogosphere. I’ve been in a very bad place this week. No, nothing’s really gone horribly wrong. My mind has just decided to think about all the things. Between living with Dave’s family and not sure what my future is going to bring and dealing with the heat and trying to keep on top of the blog and dissertation… I don’t know. It’s like Wednesday night I woke up at 2am and just had to cry. I ended up watching YouTube videos mindlessly for three hours until I could manage to get back to sleep. Ugh. I’m just in one of those funks, you know?

Weekly Recap, July, BookstagramBut hey, I guess things aren’t all that bad. I’m still having fun making a fool out of myself with Just Dance 2014, and Bookstagram always make me smile. Plus, there’s a chance my parents may be able to come visit me here in London in the near future, so if I can just keep it together until then, I know things will be good. I really miss them! So yeah. :/[/stextbox]

    • You’re welcome Hazel! It’s such an amazing opportunity. We’re happy to help!

And thanks! I’m not sure what this week will bring, but I hope it’s better. And I’m glad to hear you adored this week’s guest post. :) We have loved the variety of topics our guest bloggers have come up with for our little newbie blogger feature, and of course we love promoting discussion in the blogosphere. It’s a win-win ;)

  1. *hugs Asti* I know what you mean about funks. I hope your parents do manage to get to London soon!

My week has been really good. I’m in Germany and am loving taking a break from work. I’m a bit sad about having to go back to being an adult on Tuesday!

  2. Haha I love when you have quizes in your link ups :) I can never find good ones but you ladies always have the BEST ones :) I got McGonagal also WHOO!! And I actually got 62% “Balanced Bitch” for the other :/ Thanks for sharing all these awesome links again :D :D

  3. Thank you for linking to my post! I’ve been *silently stalking* and loving your blog for a long time now and it feels like a great honour to be mentioned heh :)) Now let me go get myself a comfortable chair and start catching up on that are happening around the blogosphere this week! Great feature, love it <3 Have a great week ahead!

  4. Four minutes of Guardians of the Galaxy footage and it still doesn’t look all that great compared to the other Marvel movies. This better be better than it looks.

Thanks for including a couple links to my blog!

  5. In case you were curious…

Female HP Character – Luna Lovegood. Says I’m incredibly clever and an introvert. I’ll accept it.
90s TV Detective – Author Jessica Fletcher. Don’t know who she is but it says I’m creative and a detailed observer of people. Sure. But it also says I’m a fashion icon. Ha!
Bitchy – 19%. Doubt that’s accurate. I think I’m more bitchy, I’m just better at avoiding the triggers.

    • Ahhh, Luna! I was hoping I’d get her, but I got the grouchy old lady instead, which is sort of fitting, haha! I don’t know who Jessica Fletcher is either. I’m actually glad I got Scully because at least I know who she is! 19% bitch, wow! I was sort of surprised by how high my percentage was. :(

  6. Awww Asti I hope this week goes better for you! *sends over huge hugs*

*does a jig* I got Luna!!! Totally makes my day right there ^_^ And of course Kelley got McGonogall – being very badass herself ;) Aaaand apparently I’m only 21% bitchy – meaning not at all. Oh well. It takes too much effort to get bitchy when I’m pissed.

  7. I got Hermione, go figure!

*Hugs* Asti, I hope you have a better week this week!

You have a restaurant that only sells macaroni and cheese Kelley? Like do they have different kinds or something? I hope you have a great week as well!

  8. I got 53% bitchy! I’m apparently balanced and I really don’t know how accurate this quiz is, because I must be more than that in real life. Like, every day. And thanks a lot for including me!

I don’t know why I’m so disappointed I didn’t win the planner. I mean, yes, it would have been a bother to ship and who knows if I would ever use it . . . but I just strangely really want it. :/

    • Haha, I would think being balanced bitchy is a good thing? Though I can’t help but laugh that you admitted you’re probably more of a bitch in real life. Some people just can’t help themselves ;)

And aww, you know you can download the planner free, right? I mean, it obviously does still cost in order to print and bind it and whatnot. But it’s not completely unattainable :/ I myself am horrible with paper planners. I much prefer using online tools!

    • Awww, sorry you didn’t win the planner, Shannelle. :( I only had 5 entrants so I just took one of my dice and rolled it to get the number, and it was Charli! At least you can still download and print the planner. (I could even send you my modified PDF with all the extra pages placed in, so all you have to do is hit PRINT and it’ll come out in the right order — front and back. Interested?)
